With some of these kids, all they need to know is that there is a good chance they won't be the man. Hickman obviously knew Cal was pursuing other point guards.
The homesick excuse is weak, even if he went to school an hr away from home, he will be so wrapped up in basketball, home won’t be a thing. He will have to live in the gym.

I think Frederick was going to commit this past weekend. I had heard this, but then he didn’t. Not sure why, but the word is he will commit very soon (this week). Honestly thought it would be today so who the hell knows....
