His defense is really good as well thats the biggest thing I noticed other night vs state. We really missed him in that aspect

Still was important to the outcome, but pretty amazing that we could win at KU by 18 with TyTy not being able to buy a bucket.

Probably lingering effects of his bum ankle. So glad he made a go tonight.
5 assists and 3 steals. KU keyed in on him and opened it up for brooks to have a massive game

His shot was broke tonight, so was Mintz. Hopefully in Tyty's case, it was rust and lingering effects from the injury. But it does worry you a little bit that he's had a few **** the bed games this season. Duke, Notre Dame, and KU. He's our best or 2nd best player, if he has a game like that in the tourney, it probably gets us sent home.

Tyty impacts the flow of the offense. Just having him out there handling, keeping the offense moving and allowing Wheeler to play off the ball some possessions is huge.

I actually like when Wheeler can play off the ball, receive the weave pass in the half court and attack off that. He's so quick that it's an effective way to get him to the lane without needing him to bring it up the court.

He contributed in a lot of ways. Some can been seen in assists and steals etc. But he also has to be respected by the defense. Him being out there opened things up for others a lot. Lord, I’m glad he was able to play.

He changes other teams defense. He can light you up if you don’t game plan for him.

He’s the straw that stirs the drink to borrow a phrase from baseball’s Reggie Jackson.
