Maybe. Position of need though. Wouldn't be a bad fit given what he could bring personally from being at Alabama.why? he had 1 rush and 1 pass reception and fell on a blocked punt for a td. in 3 years at Alabama. If he was a truly a top 150 player overall and top 20ish WR in the country, he would have had accomplished a whole lot more.
I would look at this situation and say, what is he going to provide me that we don't already have? 6'6" is about it. I would rather play 3 true freshmen 4 games each than this guy 12 games. JMHO

If he went juco last year he would've easily been a top 10 recruit...
I bet that applies to most of us on here.We are way too fixated on tall WRs this year. Size is nice but it isn't everything. I'd prefer we pass on this 6'6 Bama guy with no production in his career.
We only have one spot left and I think we want Joseph.

Examples of some really good WRs 6' and shorter (you DON'T have to be tall):
-Odell Beckham
-Antonio Brown
-Jarvis Landry
-DJ Moore
-Stefon Diggs
-Julian Edelman
-Tyler Lockett
-Tyreek Hill
-Terry McLaurin
-Hollywood Brown
-Brandin Cooks
-Emmanuel Sanders
-Golden Tate
-T.Y. Hilton
All 5’9
Steve Smith from the Panthers
Wes Welker Broncos
DeShawn Jackson Redskins
Santana Moss Redskins
so I agree, height isn’t everything and most of our WRs are 5’10-6’1 range anyways.
Yes. Let's limit options and only recruit short wide receivers. Avoid admitting that size was a weakness for that group last year and no transfer, especially from the best program in college football, would help that room... Seriously though why wouldn't we take something we don't have much of in that room? All 5’9
