He should be in the mix for playing time. There will be some competition.
He probably needed to learn the playbook and show more consistency. Could also be a total bust, but if he grinds it out in the off-season, then he could get on the field.
Still on the team. Read that he was studying CBT this past season and CBT was mentoring him. I have herd he’s been doing fine. Came a little late and Newsome just got the other spot. TJ could start this coming up year. CBT said he’s doing great. We worry about a lot of things in Lincoln but secondary isn’t one. Just like Iowa city worries about all skill spots

Scout team? Wouldn't have the same impact as here but def would see the filed this upcoming season. Lets hope we start winning and land Dae'vonn Hall since he could be the top WR in the history from the state of Nebraska.
Keegan Johnson can't get separation from a safety. Levi Falck is a better WR than Keegan Johnson. Let that sink in for a minute. Not hating on the kid but even the handicappers from Vegas noted Johnson's inability to get separation. Yeah, if he can find a hole in a zone he can catch the ball and make some yards after the catch but we've got walk ons who can do that.
No. I've heard 2 different Vegas handicappers note Keegan's lack of speed and inability to get separation in man coverage. Now that doesn't mean he can't be a successful college WR if he can block and find the holes in the zones. Iowa's WR depth chart was extremely thin. He chose wisely for immediate playing time. Against us he caught some passes but none of them were because of his moves or speed.
He’s a good player. He would play here. In fact he would get more touches at Nebraska than he does iowa. He had only 1 catch against us. Maybe 2 targets. A horrible reverse setup as well They don’t use him enough at iowa. I think he made a mistake re his school choice.
I agree that Johnson is highly overrated. Good hands but zero ability to shake dbs
