“Doping” is probably not the correct term. He tested positive for “drugs of abuse”, which on the NBA’s list us pretty much every recreational drug except for weed. Probably not his first failed test if this is his punishment. Doping typically refers to performance enhancing drugs. Anyway, its hard to blame the league when the policy is cut and dry.

I definitely agree that when rules are there, whatever consequence you get is well deserved, however i wonder if the whole lifetime ban is warranted considering it doesn’t seem to have affected his play and he hasn’t gotten into and legal problems because of it.
