Shocked that he didn’t get some kind of suspension. There really must be more to the story than we’ve gotten to this point

Without Hill, the Chiefs are a wildcard team. With him, a Super Bowl favorite.

I was shocked as well.

1. Given Goodell's history: his overreaction to other cases, given that he has not hesitated to punish others before in the absence of conclusive evidence.

2. Given the facts surrounding the case, Hill's history, the nature of the allegations, given the tape that came out after, given the public scrutiny surrounding it all.

It's very odd to me. Seems completely arbitrary. I'm not sure how Ezekiel Elliot gets suspended in the absence of clear evidence, and to a lesser and more controversial degree, Tom Brady, while Hill does not. It's also unclear to me why Incognitio got only two games.

Love my Chiefs, but I don't see how this guy skated....don't blame the Chiefs for keeping him and welcoming him back though, fact is somebody is going to let him play and the Chiefs aren't in the biz of fortifying other people's rosters. Hunt had to go, but what happened? Just signs with somebody else...so if a player is eligible, and is a difference maker, you gotta keep him.

Mahomes is pretty good still...

All great points. Makes me think there is a smoking gun somewhere that exonerates Hill - at least as much as he can be exonerated.

How many millions did this cost him? He was in line to get paid BIG. Maybe he’ll still cash.

It all comes down to whether or not the Chiefs owner has pissed off Goodell. Jerry Jones was picked on for rocking the boat. Brady and Belichick too.

If I read it right, the NFL interviewed Hill for eight hours. He denied everything. The mother declined to talk to the NFL. The NFL interviewed a couple relatives as well and they didn't provide any evidence.

Apparently, if it's domestic or child abuse, there's got to be video tape otherwise the NFL isn't going to care.... or rather they will try to appear to care, but their main focus is on issuing uniform code violations and suspending weed smokers.

bad situation for the chiefs. Nothing from the police, no real evidence besides sketchy audio. Hoped the Chiefs would do at least a short suspension when the NFL didn't. No matter what actually happened, there was really bad publicity and there was at least conduct detrimental to the team.

There has been many who stated he wasn’t even there when their son broke his arm. She feel asleep and the child broke his arm accidentally. The whole situation has been extremely odd, a lot of twists and sad ordeal. It is horrible a child was hurt but we have also learned the mother is crazier than a loon.

Well the kid had a broken arm...how it got broken or who was at fault remain a mystery I believe. The state attorney declined to prosecute...so he didn’t know either
He couldn't prove. Doesn't mean he wasn't pretty damn sure. You gotta have evidence to bring charges and he didn't.

Unsurprising she backed off when put to a choice between killing her golden goose or slashing millions off his net worth by helping convict him. People make pretty depressing choices over a lot less money.

I still know zero people who get repeatedly accused of being violent abusers with no basis in fact.

Only a matter of time before he hurts the kid again or beats up on the mother. Reek will be a distraction this year, no doubt. Chefs won't even win the division, let alone the AFC.

Speaking of the NFL, anyone else seeing Ozigbo and Morgan are looking good and projected to make the 53 roster. Sounds like the saints staff believes Oz could fill the shoes of Ingram.

I still think that Oz becomes a name player in the NFL especially to those that play fantasy football. Will be harder on Stanley to breakthrough with the depth @ Cincy

Eh, AFC West is pretty bad. Sadly, I think the Chiefs win the division even if they have to move their practices up the road to Leavenworth.

As much as I hate the Chiefs and think Ty Hill is a shitbag, as long as they have Mahomes healthy, they’re in the driver seat (pains me to say as a Broncos fan). I did just see a Mike Florio tweet saying the Chiefs should trade Hill now, especially if they can’t reach a contract deal...doubt it happens but interesting nonetheless

The Bears trading up to get that RB out of Iowa State and then Ozigbo going UDFA confused the hell out of me. I could not be less excited about this dude they drafted and then to trade up to get him besides.

Hoping it will be like Cohen where they know something I didnt'.

What? The AFC West division might be the best in the NFL this year. It's pretty likely two teams will make it to the playoffs, again.

Chargers are okay but I don't see them passing the Chiefs. Broncos and Raiders still have way too many holes, in my opinion. Hope you're right, though. I would much prefer to see any of them win the division.

C'mon now schuele....you're not on the "Flacco-is-elite" bandwagon? Joking aside, your assessment is fair and accurate.
