Anyone can chatter . Dude hasn’t played a regular season game . Ever .

I have to kind of agree, even though I love seeing this side in players.

But Herro hasn't proven much yet.. and I'd hate to see him start off on a bad foot with other players in the NBA. I think of guys like Austin Rivers and Grayson Allen.. Both rubbed other players the wrong way, and they are still paying for it.

I would disagree with two points:

1) You said earlier imagine him doing that in the 80’s. Bird, one of the all-time greatest, did exactly that from the moment he came into the league. Is TH as good as LB? No, but who is? Just saying that if you think you have the skills to back it up, can’t let other players punk you just because you’re a rookie. You have to set a tone early.

2) I think TH has accomplished a lot. More than 99.9999999% of anyone who’s ever picked up a basketball. He is playing in the NBA.

I get your overall point but I think TH is just trying to show others he’s not going to take ****. If he starts flopping, whining, etc then your warning will be right, like Allen and Rivers. But I think we’ve seen enough of Herro to know he’s not a punk like those other two.

Fair points , appreciate the mature nature . But was he really being punked ?? I'm not sure .
and making the league doesn't mean you parade around like you are hot **** ... last year I was on the opposite side of this , lots of people blasted , I mean BLASTED Herro for being cocky , long long before the I'm a bucket stuff. I really didnt think he was that cocky until late in the year . Sadly I'd like to have seen the fire and bad *** version of TH at Tn when they did punk him , and us , and when all the chips were on the table he played near his worst . So dont strut around when you had it handed to twice last year with all the money on the table. JMHO .

Weak take. This is professional basketball and “barking” is part of the game. The refs were soft as hell.

You missed my point. It’s ok to talk **** in a game but don’t cross the line. Somebody out there will bait him in a game this year. Just be the silent assassin. Let your game speak for you. I think at times he acts like a punk. He will look back one day and probably be embarrassed. Especially if he sees any pics of some of the ridiculous clothing he wore.

he represents the BBN for life. That is something to be respected. It has no bearing on my life whatsoever. Not sure why you went there. He got to the NBA because of his talents. I just don’t want him losing focus on that. He’s gonna get baited, knocked around, fouled hard and messed with, you gotta respond to all of that stuff with your play, not your mouth. It’s going to affect his game.

I bet Pat Riley has a smile on his face. He knows the young gun will settle down. He has a lot to learn but other players will respect him knowing he isn’t a *****.
Joe Namath said when the Jets first signed him for 400,000 there was a lot of resentment from players who were making 25-35k a year. He told them he was there to be a teammate and win, but if anyone wanted to fight, he would fight them. He gained their respect. I’m sure Namath knew most of them couid have kicked his ***, he also knew that that person, not himself would have been kicked off the team. Lol.
