Didnt shoot well. Missed free throws. Struggled with turnovers in the opening exhibition games. Not sure his TOs tonight.
He turned it on in the 2nd half.. When the game was over. Not sure how that means he played well.

Our fans have been severely overrating this kid based upon what they "want" him to be, rather than what he really is.
I’m still a BIG fan of Herro. I think he’s going to be great. Not sure anyone is beating Duke this year. Herro will have some off games, but he’s not going to make or break this season by himself.
When he learns to take better shots, stay disciplined and in control, he will be a very good player. Could take a whole season, less or more who knows.
He was also our best tonight at standing on the perimeter and watching guys go one on one, a staple of Cal’s offense. Rack ‘em!

Umm yes he did. He scored 10 points in the last 10 minutes when the game was clearly out of reach and the victory cigars were coming in.
Leading the team in rebounds and nearly in assists means he does a little more than just score.
He had 5 points in first half, and his blocks, rebounds, and assists were scattered throughout the game, So no he didn’t.

I told my Duke friends (sadly, yes) that this early meeting very much favored a team like Duke that has offense for days. Magnify that by how poorly we played in those exhibitions.
I think Duke is the better team, probably will be all season.. But last night was just a bad matchup for us this early. I don't think Duke is truly a 30pt better team.
Herro will be a really good player for UK. It's just gonna take some time for the chemistry to show up. He's gotta get better on the defensive end though. He's a liability right now. He can't rely on his athletic ability to overcome his defensive breakdowns. Gotta get in good position and stay there.
