Guard play next year could be really nice!

Quade, SGA, Baker, Quickley, Keldon, Herro ... positionless/small ball at its finest

Kid is a player and a shooter, the kind that we always covet. Like many have said, we need a good mix of stud 1 and done talent and multi year guys. He fits the bill....hopefully he commits soon!

Shai and Hami will both be one and done, scouts will fall in love with Shai's potential as a two way player and they are already drooling over Diallo's athleticism and potential. I would look for Grimes to join Herro and Quickly as are gaurd commits..

Agree. If elfrid Peyton can go in the first round, so can Alexander who has even more impressive measurables

I saw him in the parking garage by Rupp Arena as I was leaving the Hyatt Bar an hour after the game today. He seemed to be in a great mood, as he was dancing and laughing with his family.

A little premature to say that after 1 college game isn't it?

Really has nothing to do with how many games he has played. I just don't see NBA talent. I expect him to be at UK for 4 years or transfer.

Very solid for UK but not beyond that

I like recruits who dance on an official visit.

What kind of dancing was it? Was he busting out a stanky leg? A classic Dougie? Maybe he was twerkin' Miley Cyrus style? I'd feel better about UK's chances if it was a classic like the Dougie, since UK is a traditional power. I'd feel even better if it was an electric slide, but beggars can't be choosers.

He was just being silly with what looked to be a younger brother/nephew?

I hope UK compliance fully vets the circumstances behind his de-commitment from Wiscy.

I agree...

"So you say you never signed with Wisconsin and bigger schools were interested and you decided to switch your choice? Hmmm, sounds fishy to us morons...."

At least one of Green/Alexander.

It is very early, but these appear to be far-reaching guesses.

Neither has shown any NBA ability as of yet.

Shai may not even be a starter but he will be drafted as one of the Top 30 players on earth not already in the NBA.

Knox and Hami are definites, maybe Richards because of age and measurables (usually only 7'ers are given this, not guards. As athletic as Hami is he was projected very late in the round and Shai is not close to his athleticism).

Someone tell me a little about him please is he a glorified brad that can play d? I know he's supposed to be an excellent shooter, but what else can he do? The other thing I see is that we will have a few guys return for sure next yr to go with the guys we have got already just trying to see where herro fits in and if he can contribute right away?

I'm more excited about Herro than I would of been about signing Barrett but thats just because I really think we'll get Vando back or Zion. Having Baker and Herro will not only give us a massive scoring boost but make the starters that much better defensively every day.

And some people accuse me of never posting anything positive

What if he's a poor man's Luke Kennard? Will that be good enough here?

Looks like a UNCheat or Dook player but if he can shoot instead of skipping class or tripping, come on down!!

Very excited about getting this kind of player. I think his shooting could help right away, but he could be a 2-3 or even 4 year guy. Huge for building the program.

Fine by me. I just know cal jr is supposed to be our best shooter but never plays mainly because others in front of him and his D. That said by the time he's a junior and senior I think we will get to see him a little more

yes a top 25ish kid who can jump and dunk with the best of them and shoots over 40% from 3 is a glorified Brad. Me thinks you are judging him by his looks and not his game which is sad. He is a very skilled all around offensive weapon . Can shoot from anywhere on the floor and can drive well and is a pretty sweet dunker to boot. He is a pure offensive weapon but has enough skills to learn to play D well. He reminds me a ton of Booker.
