Zion, and probably RJ, will Duke's version(s) of Michael Jordan. Long after K has retired, these two guys will be dominating in the NBA, and will be the guys Duke uses to recruit in HS. Regardless of what they achieve this year, they will be the two most important recruits/players of K's tenure, because they are the guys that will help Duke's success endure beyond K.
Think that can be said about Zion but it’s not because he’s a better ball player than RJ. He’s just got the personality and swag that kids that are like 10 years old now all the way to SRs in HS will want to follow and be like. If it was going off talent, you’ve got Tatum who will be an All-Star for the next 10+ years and could eventually threaten for MVP like Kyrie.
Zion is a bigger, badder version of someone like Vince Carter who wasn’t the best player to come out of UNC during his time but that a lot of up and coming players immolated and wanted to follow in his footsteps at UNC.
