From perhaps the lowest point of NU football history. It really is hard to imagine a worse time. And seriously the worst OL performance in school history.

But at least it brought an end to the Eichworst Era. And now we have Moos, Frost and a Unity of Purpose. Maybe it’s taking a little longer than we as fans have hoped, but we will get there

I dunno.

Watching this Cy-Hawk crap on College Gameday is another new low to me. These guys are the new corn inspired football game? All the great tradition of the series between Iowa and Iowa State.

Am I even writing this down on a message board? What kind of alternative universe are we living in right now???

Dude, No one wants this fixed more than Frost. I have no doubt he will make the changes needed to succeed. Am I going to have to start spamming K-pop videos to get you going? Get it together!

Look I have a lot of things going on in my life right now, a lot of them really really promising if the economy just stays on track...and I don't need any more stress.

I go through my weekly Friday night ritualistic binge, wake up nice and hungover last week and see a pretty good looking Nebraska team go up 17-0 on the Puffs. Ok, this is great! I fall asleep in my master for a nice nap snoozing away to dreams of 2-0...then the 2H happened.

I'm tired of this ****.

Yep it's confusing how NU seems to pee the bed everytime they get a chance. This has been going on many years now. NU fans are like the old Boston fans who had a hate love relationship until they finally broke through. Sports are supposed to be fun but watching NU invent ways to lose is just not very enjoyable. I for one am going to taper off my fandom and optimism until they actually prove they can play good ball

Yeah I know. I’m tired of it too. But so is Frost Unlike Clownahan, Riley and BO, I feel that he will do what is needed. It takes time though

Eastern style North Carolina bbq sauce. For Lexington style, omit ketchup.
  • 2 cups apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Texas Pete's
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
Procedure
  1. Place all of the ingredients in a small, non-reactive sauce pan and bring to a boil. Whisk until the sugar and salt is completely dissolved, remove from heat, and allow to cool to room temperature.
  2. Pour the sauce into a jar or squeeze bottle and let rest in the refrigerator one day before using.
Great for pulled pork.

As A Hawk fan, most Hawk fans don't care for the whole corn genre.

Big Daddy’s Carolina Mustard based BBQ sauce.
1 cup prepared yellow mustard
  • 2
tablespoons butter (a healthier choice use 2 tablespoons organic free range grass fed butter)
  • 1
tablespoon liquid smoke(hickory flavoring) A teaspoon is good for my likes.
DIRECTIONS
  • Mix all except soy, butter and smoke. Simmer 30 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer for 10 more minutes. Vinegar taste may be very strong until completely cooled. Refrigerating overnight is best and allows flavors to blend.
  • Add a few drops of Louisiana Hot Sauce at the end if additional heat is desired.
