Turner Gill and Darin Erstad played football and baseball at Nebraska. I remember Erstad's punts in the second half of the '95 Orange Bowl pinning Miami deep until the offense got untracked. Turner played shortstop on the baseball team.

Could be. I seem to remember that he played in like 15 games or so. He wouldn't have been able to join the team until January post bowl season. Technically still a two sport player

Yes. Strickland played minor-league baseball while he was at NU, so he wasn't eligible to play college baseball. People talked about him joining the football team as a WR or a DB, but it never happened. Don't know if his baseball contract said "no football" but it might have.
