Has EJ ever seen a ball fake he didn't like ? Right now, as we speak, Juzang should be getting at least some of maxeys minutes.

Maxey had a bad game but don’t knee jerk.
Maxey is the better defender and he also is a huge pet of our offense on any standard night. He’s able to beat his man off the dribble and create for himself and others. That gives you 3 guards capable of creating. Juzang isn’t as good w the ball in his hands and he hit his first 3 tonight.
I really like Johnnys trajectory and what he is giving us right now, but Maxey is still the better all around player.

To be as guard oriented as we are we continue to turn the ball over at an alarming rate. You can’t turn the ball over as much as we do and expect to have success when it matters most. If we do not get that under control it will be what ends our season,
oh you mean those bs flops that accounted for over half the turnovers?
couple sure but way too many careless turnovers and it’s been going on for awhile now, not just tonight.

Hagans needs to make better decisions especially last 5min..Maxey has to stop the hero ball the last 5min...The 3 PG's had 15 to's more if you count bad shots.
The thing that bothered me the most tonight is our unforced turnovers. We had a ten point led or so and got called for carrying the ball and traveling consecutive times down court and that's when they made their move, Juzang has to play better defense and Maxey is in some kind of funk and has got to play better on offense and defense. He got back doord a couple of times late in the game and Juzang let a ball go right thru his hands.I know they are trying but in close games on the road those kind of things get you beat.
you would need to if you wanted to stand by you’re initial statement of only “a couple”. there were double figure flops and 7 charges called. literally all incorrect by any interpretation of either made contact made or position held. so for you’re overall argument this game simply doesn’t apply. subtract the flops and we have like 10 turnovers. illegal screens as well count as turnovers. did you see the one called on sestina. i guess not.
yes I did see that and it was an atrocious call. Bad calls aside we still have way too many unforced turnovers mostly committed by our guards. My argument is not an argument at all, it is merely fact. If they do not value possessions any better in March than they do now it will be their undoing.
And yet we find things to complain about even after a very good win on the road. Amazing!
actually if you take away the calls everyone is talking about the turnover total this game would have been more than acceptable. is their room for improvement still? yes.
Agree and good point. I will say I think charges count as turnovers. I may be wrong on that though.
But, you're exactly right. UK has to cut down on the turnovers. Maxey had 5 and Quickley 6. That is not acceptable. Especially when the two of them only had 4 assists. To me, Maxey just doesn't understand what a good shot is and time and situation in games. Just too nonchalant at times.
some of y'all are freaking whiners. Enjoy the season sheesh. We have a team capable of winning it all. every team has flaws but we are one of a few that can cut down the nets. let's get behind these dudes and quit nit picking every mistake

So did Cal..Maxey and Hagans play like they did today you can forget a F4..Most know this and Cal for sure knows..He called Maxey out ..
