I never saw a QB throw two forward passes in one play, like in the Colorado game. And Arizona St intercepted the 2nd pass. To me it seems like the 2nd pass can not be intercepted, because it is illegal. But the other team was awarded the interception. Is that right?

Isn't it just a situation in which Arizona State can decline the penalty and take the interception?

Okay, makes some sense. For the defense, the 2nd pass is treated like a normal pass, and for the offense it is treated like a penalty. The defense can declined or accepted the penalty, which ever helps the defense the most.
