You must not have ever visited Blacksburg. It’s in the middle of BFE and the closest city is Roanoke which is about 45 minutes away. Christiansburg in the same county (Montgomery) is a nice town.

That's why they make chocolate and vanilla. I love Blacksburg being "in the middle of BFE" or the Blue Ridge. I think Christiansburg is a dump. Roanoke too. Different strokes.

I've never been to Blacksburg but am quite fond of McGaheysville and Harrisonburg.

We vacation in that area every couple years...beautiful part of the country in the Fall.

Who knows what is going through KB's mind. He might feel like VT is home while looking at the Reid Travis situation and asking what did Kentucky do for another 23 year old to improve his draft stock? We want Blackshear to come here to help us win at title and he might not really care about that. It's possible he wants to be the featured guy on very bad team instead of being a vital cog in on championship team.

Harrisonburg is about 200 miles north of Blacksburg in the Shenandoah Valley. Lots of caverns in the valley. Very scenic. The Statler Brothers are from nearby Staunton (pronounced Stanton) Va
