I’m totally expecting St Peters to lose by a lot today. But Duke/SPU WILL NEVER HAPPEN if the NCAA has anything to do with it. If you listen to the Dan Patrick Show, he’ll tell you: Cinderellas are cute but EVERYONE WANTS THE BLUE BLOODS in the Elite 8, Final Four.”Duke vs UNC/SPU:
Duke v UNC: two blue bloods, legendary rival, can UNC end Coach K’s career;
OR
Duke v SPU: never more of a have v have-not game, SPU talk of the nation, a lot of casual fans will tune in.
Which gets higher TV numbers?
I think SPU-Duke (even if you think that’s extremely unlikely) has an equal or greater audience than UNC-Duke.I’m totally expecting St Peters to lose by a lot today. BTW, As big of a national story SPU has been, that show has all but ignored the Peacocks. Even Rich Eisen interviewed Shaheen Holloway last week.
I think non ACC fans won't care about another Duke vs UNC game compared to the ultimate Cinderella run if it continues.I think SPU-Duke (even if you think that’s extremely unlikely) has an equal or greater audience than UNC-Duke.
Duke v North Carolina because they are elite basketball programs known nationwide.Duke vs UNC/SPU:
