I remember when these threads were 20 pages long a week before the game. Threads shut down and started again. Sad.
I give about as much of a crap as our administration when they are running Hall of Fame coaches out of town to hire all of Ol’ Red’s boys back multiple times. The whole program and school have become a joke.
For real though, what was it??
But seriously I was wondering, why did they move this game from the last game of the year?
I mean I have absolutely no dog in this fight, it just always seemed from a far that that was a tradition, to play this game in the final week of the regular season.. And a great tradition at that!
The 50/50 was $29K and I don't know why everyone always talks about this game being played at the end of the season... Because it hasn't been for at least the last 15 years anyways! Lol. It used to be around mid October and now it's usually always earlier somewhere around Labor Day Weekend.
Really? My bad, I could have sworn I remembered this game being played at the end of the year...
I wasn't completely sure either. I had to look at the schedule on MaxPreps and it only goes back to 2004. I can't remember when it was played before that because that was before my time. I'm sure someone else could enlighten. We're in 2 diff conferences now and they have 8 others teams in theirs, so it messes the scheduling with them all up.

We have played them .third,several times in early 2000 , played them in the middle of the year and way back the last of the year.http://www.gobiggreen.net/ This guy has every schedule and score for Pisgah since 66. After that, he has when it was Canton back to the 40's,

Thanks for the info! First time I've been on www.gobiggreen.net and yes he does do a very good job! Very informative. Will have to use that more often.
I like it because it brings back a lot of memories of games won and lost.
