It’s nice to actually be back in the playoffs again. Lol I don’t know anything about concord maybe some of you all who do could chime in. Hopefully our guys come out wanting to play. They have been fun to watch this year.

They run the ball 99.0% of the time. More of the read option and misdirection plays. If you have a halfway decent run game and passing game you’ll be able to move the ball on them. It was obvious last Friday that they haven’t play nobody this year.

Thanks. We have had a pretty good run game this season. IMO. It should be an interesting matchup.

Looked like Kannapolis beat Concord 47-0 this past Friday, I thought that was surprising considering that AL is 5-5. Tuscola has a pretty good defense, especially against the run.

Running clock by 3rd quarter prolly...very disappointed in concord Friday...after they lost the fumble returned for a touchdown to go down 14....looked like they quit. Still don't understand why defense line doesn't get closer to line of scrimmage they lined up over a yard away from scrimmage everytime. I kept thinking scoot up, offense is an offense you see ran in small 1a ball when u don't have athletes and u just try to chew up the clock. I thought after they beat west Rowan that maybe this was the year they could beat al Brown. Boy was I mistaken.

Tuscola has a couple skill players who can take it to the house on any play.
Defense has been a really bright spot this year compared to years before. They’ve gave up points at times but they get behind the 8 ball at times with a pass heavy offense.
But I will say the run game has been great at times but others not so much.
If the Mounties can get on the board early and boost that confidence I think it will be a dandy!

And limit our penalties. They have plagued us from time to time.

If you can get up on them by 14 and get them to have to pass the ball you can win this game.

Hibriten beat Freedom earlier this season by 28. Freedom wasn't gonna allow that again. Hibriten is young this year but games like tonight will help them grow up. I don't know what will happen next week but happy to see this team win a playoff game! They have learned a lot this year and will be tough next year for sure! I will be praying for no injuries for either team next week and hope for a close game.
