Turnpike is cancelling shows again..

They said the Chicago House of Blues show was cancelled due to travel delays, but then cancelled Indy, Chicago and St. Louis. Looks like they backed out of Mile 0 Fest too.

I saw them the first two shows out of rehab at ACL and Evan looked rough. They were good, but he looked like someone who was battling himself.

I hope he can stay clean. They’re talented.

I’ve seen them a couple times. The first time we saw them, I said to myself I didn’t think Felker would last long, unless he — ahem — slowed down a bit. The most recent show, he looked more normal, but the show wasn’t as good.

I have a friend that went to some little concert back during Christmas in Oklahoma and he said one of them (I don’t know which one) was there to play with some other local musicians and was totally wasted.

Yeah— I’ve been wanting to see them for awhile but haven’t yet. That St. Louis show was a makeup of a show in November that they canceled— and I had briefly thought about going there in November. My plans changed though (attended a wedding in Charleston & also saw Colter Wall perform).

Like you, I hope he stays clean and they stay together.

Just saw them in Steamboat. Evan forgot a couple of lines, as usual, but rebounded and put on a helluva show. I hate that he can't keep it together. It's been a rough year, but the band's music is undeniably good.

The one time I saw them in Oxford, they put on a fantastic show. That’s been several years back, though. The band that opened for them that night didn’t disappoint either. The Black Lillies. If you haven’t heard them yet, I’d urge you to give them a listen. Hopefully Evan can get his **** together. Addiction is tough.
