Virginia buttonweed in my Bermuda lawn is a pain in the ***. The "weed and feed" from Lowes listed VA Buttonweed on list of controlled weeds but it didn't seem to phase it.

What do I need?

2,4-D should take care of that.

Trimec Classic. Has 2,4-D and dicamba in it. It will take care of your buttonweed and any other broadleaf in your yard.

Celsius. Look it up online. It was basically created for Virginia button weed

Separate the weeding and the feeding for better results. DO NOT spray 2-4D on a windy day. You'll take out your neighbors tomato plants 8 houses up.

Try MSM Turf (metsulfuron methyl ) can spray on st augustine safely for many broadleaf weeds ! Safer than 2,4-d and Tri-mec! Make sure to use surfactant, not Joy soap!
