Tulsa vs Rice

So just finished the game and wow!! How do we play so inept in that first half with all of those turnovers and still putting 40 with no Barnstable!! Second half it was over with after the first 4 minutes. I was like “is Rice gonna get 50?” NO THEY DIDNT. We almost hung a Hundo on this team. We shot 68 percent from 3 point range!! WHAT!!!! Total domination and I am happy as FAU destroyed UTSA by 40 but they also allowed them to score 70.
I still feel this team could be as a good as the 32 and 5 team in wins for the season. I catch a lot of flack that we are not anywhere equal or better than our best team ever but if we run the table in conference you might agree with the comparison

I am about equally as amped about this team. I don’t think we are that Elite 8 team but we just started conference play. Let’s see
I thought the same thing, but they have some funky looking thing that's kind of a circle with something inside. I don’t know what it's supposed to be. I noticed it moved to the Tulsa side after a held ball that went to Rice.
One thing that's different about this team to me, compared to the 1999-2000 team, is the success has came out of no where.
We knew the 99-00 team was going to be pretty good. I seem to remember a Sports Illustrated article in early December about the team was good. Plus we had been in the NCAA tournament the previous season. I think Duke beat us bad in the tournament, but we were a NCAA tournament team. Most of us fans also knew we had a good coach with Self.
Not sure many of us had many positive things to say about Konkol after 5 years, other than he seemed to be a really good guy and wasn't going to embarrass the University.
So far it's been a great start. Lot more basketball to be played.
Next test will be at North Texas.

We are a Jerome Jordan, Kevin Johnson, or Michael Ruffin away from a sweet sixteen. Our only weakness is interior. It hasn’t killed us yet but teams like Wichita may test that out. 7’2” big and top 10 little 3 point shooter. I watched them win at UAB. But beware of North Texas….. 24-1 at super pit over past two years.
