There was a guy I used to carpool to work with that would wear OU gear anytime they played TU, despite graduating from TU. He was bragging to me one day that TU got destroyed by OU in football, it took everything I had not to punch him right then and there. I'll never understand being proud of your degree from TU but refusing to root for them.
Like that jackass in the middle of the student section wearing OU gear in 2007? I believe you almost got into an altercation with him, but a buddy stepped in to take care of it.
Yea, the guy had a sweet mullet and some awesome jorts. Dress up like an OU fan day I guess.
Some keys to the game no one has talked about:
1) Get Solomon off the floor. Mitch is the key on both ends of the floor for OSU. He sets picks, will initiate the high low attack of the zone, and is an excellent offensive rebounder. On defense, he's always in the right position. Defends the post well and is very good at taking charges in the lane. He has by far the highest plus minus of any Cowboy. Look for Etou to try to get him in foul trouble early.
2) Get to the basket without getting called for charges. OSU is very good at drawing charges. Taplin must recognize the help defender sliding over and avoid contact. If Taplin gets into foul trouble, TU will struggle with OSU's trapping defense. Expect OSU to trap at the midcourt line btw.

Is Solomon comfortable at defending out to the 3pt line? I wonder if we see Junior playing further out on offensive to limit Solomon's defense and charge taking?
I remember when the ushers and concession stand workers wore state school hats and shirts in the Reynolds Center and Skelly Stadium...
When I was at TU, students didn’t wait until game day to wear state school shirts and hats on campus.. I actually had professors in the engineering bldg that would give extra credit for it.
I said earlier that I expect Etou to take a lot of jump shots due to the matchups. Solomon is better than one might expect guarding the perimeter but Etou will certainly have a quickness advantage. That perimeter shot should be there.
That practice should have been banned by the administration on principle.
