Women's Soccer has posted photos of their uniforms. If they're any indication of how other sports look I think these are a huge upgrade. The red, blue, and gold are the exact shades TU has been pushing outside of athletics. I love these.

I don't know much about soccer but isn't there a rule prohibiting untucked shirts?

No. That's an old rule. With the tighter, more form fitting jerseys, they don't have to be tucked unless they are too long and present a potential danger. Watch most international or high pro-league soccer and jerseys just aren't tucked anymore because they fit better

Women's soccer jerseys are especially built to remain untucked. The skirt on men's jerseys are usually still longer and tuckable. The women's wouldn't stay tucked for long at all the way they're currently designed.

Today is the day for football uniform unveiling. I'm excited to see how they turn out. I'm hopeful there's more gold than we've seen in the last few seasons.

Ooh today is reveal day?!

Yes it is! They will be revealing them today at the Kickoff Luncheon. Supposedly both players and fans at the luncheon will be seeing them for the first time today, should be pretty neat to see the players get excited

Here's the first photo of the new uniforms. They're very simple and missing gold altogether as far as I can tell. On the plus side, it looks like TU went for more traditional uniform design and didn't use any of the "fancy" (ugly) Adidas patterns that they offer (thank goodness!). Also these uniforms appear to be the higher end jersey material the Adidas offers, at least based on the very faint pattern you can see on the blue jerseys.

I really like the Tulsa script and the numbers on the jerseys, major improvements over last years generic "HURRICANE" block lettering and the jersey numbers that every other Nike G5 school seemed to have.

The great unveiling:

Nothing spectacular and I am wondering (hoping) they are withholding some special red or black versions. These are basic home and away. Picture is not great so it's difficult to see the detail on the jerseys (Adidas likes to embed patterns).

No specifics to share but these are the base uniforms there will be additional ones throughout the season.

Also here's a close-up on the white uniform/helmet to show the detail on them.
