I have to admit my prediction of a 14-16 record earlier this year of the season was wrong Tulsa is going for win number 15 and will now finish 15-17.

I don't really understand the line, which I thought would be 2-3. But, it's moved to 5.5.

Lots of suckers out there? I don't gamble, but even if I did, I wouldn't touch our team. They will find a new way to confound you every game.

We have better players and have won 8 more games than Tulane has. Having better players doesn't always mean they play better than the other team. Also, the back ends of these types of double headers rarely go the same way as the first game. Look at TCU and OU...OU beat them last week in Norman and TCU turned around and crushed them yesterday. Here's hoping Haith has our guys convinced it's a whole new season, fresh start, clean slate, whatever other cliche can be used here, and our guys come out confident and fired up....and not playing zone defense.

Hopefully we go that route and not the route last year's Tulsa team did with Memphis (with 1 USF game in between the two blow outs).

Vegas amazes again. Not a great performance by TU but enough defense, fewer TOs and an above average shooting performance from Birt to W and advance. I'm just relieved not to suffer the pain and ignominy of losing to a losing program back-to-back.

Nevertheless, I don't have any hopes for tomorrow except that the guys feel happy and play hard
