If we win 5 and not enough teams qualify we still might get a bowl bid

Highly unlikely. The American has 7 bowl eligible and another 3 (Army, Temple and Rice) that could conceivably become eligible. The Sunbelt has many already eligible and like 6 others with 5 wins with a game to play. I think there will be 6 win teams sitting at home.

No I was talking about the bowl game in 2020. They had Tulsa, ranked #24 playing a 3-7 Mississippi state team and they beat us and then the fight after the game
