I might have felt that way but the announcers particularly RGIII are so pro-USC it is nauseating. Also twice the USC tackle wrestled the TU rusher around the legs as he was beat with no call. Both times led to big plays. Hate when underdog has to overcome more obstacles than the big name.

Nahhh. IF this was the new format they would have had to play TCU and if they won that game they would have to play Utah. The Power 5 have better teams than the Group of 5. I do like how the G5 will ahve a seat at the table in 2024

That was a heck of a finish. The game hinged on one play, the USC returner’s mistake which lead to the safety and an extra possession for Tulane. The returner catches that ball and USC has it at the 25 and Williams runs out the clock.
