That’s one we gave away…twice. We had a 14 point lead and gave it away. Then we put up two three pointers early in the OT. If we had driven to the basket on those two possessions we would probably have had the lead instead of being 4 down. Also, if Haggerty makes two free throws instead of just one near the end of regulation there is no OT so make that three times.

Dumb and dumber, not referring to the game.

We shouldn't have needed it, but Konkol saying something bout it, is the time you review the hook and hold, not jacking around after you let the guy shoot a free throw. That could have led to a tie or lead. Really ignorant move by the refs.

Seriously.. a 21 point swing???

Somewhere in there a coach has got to nut up and throw a chair, knock over a water jug, get ejected.. something.. something to scare the ever loving crap out of his soft players...
There is some substance in your post as I saw Self even kick a star player out of practice. Just look at Kelvin’s Sampson’s face and it scares all his players.

I’m sure you’re happy because the hated cowboys imploded tonight
But your commanders are the bottom feeders

These morons on the board acting like this would be fixed in a single offseason are absolutely pathetic. Is it a game we could have won? Of course it is, but our young players don't know how to win and close games yet when veteran teams don't give up and come back at them. Our 4 losses are by what, an average of 4-6 points? All of you calling for the coaches head are just completely idiotic.

And Reed? Yea, he's figuring it out.

Most people figured we would be right around .500 this season, and that's probably where we will end up. NEXT SEASON is the one Konkol gets judged.

Next season?.. Next season?. We're gonna talk about next season!?! When almost this whole team hits the portal and we have 9 or 10 new players on the bench? Next Season!? Who is talking about Next Season? Someone needs to show they can coach the team they built!.. Next Season!?

To be fair you had been stating all week that we wouldn’t lose another home game :).

This is true. I deserve that I guess
Just giving you a hard time. A number of fans got a little overly optimistic based on a bunch of home wins over some really bad teams. The guys are still very young. Need to let them grow up a bit. Remaining home schedule is relatively weak. Plenty of wins left on the schedule.

This team is playing great in spurts and dreadful in spurts, which is what should have been expected from a completely fresh roster. If we can be at .500 or slightly better when the season closes and can hold on to the players that we need to continue to build I'll be satisfied. There are many good signs of development from players, but consistency and that anticipation that comes with the familiarity of playing together just aren't there yet. Maintaining continuity in the roster and continued growth through the off season should bode well for the future.

Finally some common sense.

There were a couple of spots yesterday wher a player made a pass to an open spot expecting a teammate to be there and it ended up being a turnover. There will come a time when those passes become easy baskets rather than turnovers.
