Same starting 5 from ECU game:

Taplin
Henderson
Korita
Igbanu
Etou

Looks like there’s 20-30 people there.

We are on pace for about 30 turnovers. Stupid ones like traveling and stepping out of bounds. Need to clean that up.

We need a new coach BAD, if we don't fire Haith at then end of the year, then we just don't care and our content with being Mediocre

Yeah Bruce went all time nuts on that. College basketball has a lot of issues, but if I were king, the first thing I would do is find new refs.

Even the ESPN3 commentators, who I think are Tulane local guys (they know much more about Tulane), were in disbelief they called it on Igbanu.

We had about as good a half as we can on he boards. Need to hit our shots and keep playing decent D.

If we keep up this defense and limit turnovers we win by a bunch. Let’s see what happens, Dunleavy will make some good adjustments

Our perimeter defense is light years beyond what it was early in the season. Moved away from only interior defense, thank god.

He was a terrific player for the Rockets.

Did he play with Steve Harris there?

Tulame is a bad team. How they’ve won 10 games is beyond me.

Reynolds is a nice player, as is Frazier. Our defense did a good job containing them. Overall, our defense has vastly improved. That matchup zone has been effective. Saw Jefferies was suited up on the bench. Heard on the ESPN3 broadcast vs. ECU that he may be back Wednesday vs. UCONN.

I kept reading how Tulane was going to dominate us and it was going to be a sure loss. That was BS. Maybe Tulane isn’t ‘bad’, just not as inflated as some of you kept saying.

Time will tell, they did beat a Temple team, that should be pretty dang good. I do think some posters took that win too much to heart. I thought we’d win by 10+ today and was wrong.

Not sure who Tulane is yet. They’ve been blown out in their games against P5s, and feasted on a ton of crap teams. Best win is their last game at Temple (always a good win).

We are really good when we shoot well, and even better when we defend like we did today and grind one out when the shots are not falling. As teams look to limit Etou, Igbanu is going to get more and more touches and looks and will need to keep playing like he did today. That will free things up for everyone else.

I didn’t get to watch most of the game but I did like Haith’s offense and defense subs at the end bringing Wheeler in on defense and Scott in on offense.

One issue: with about 1:30 left, Taplin drove the ball into the lane with a little under 10 on the shot clock and he should have pulled up from about 8 feet for the little runner and instead kicked it out to (Korita I think) who missed the open 3. Taplin needs to have the confidence to take that runner in those pressure situations.

Amazing that half our turnovers came during 8 or 10 minutes today. Clean those sloppy periods up and it's even a more comfortable win.
