Tulane has offered their head coaching position to Georgia State head coach Ron Hunter and it seems very likely that he will take this job. Personally, I think hire will be great for Tulane and will finally end their days as the conference laughingstock in basketball.

Wasn’t he the guy that his player picked him up as they pulled off a 15 over 2 upset. Maybe one of the MEAC schools? Isn’t his nickname “Fang”?
He's a big dude, so must have been the adrenaline fueling that lift. He should be a great fit for Tulane.
He’s famous for falling off his scooter that he was on due to his torn Achilles as his son RJ. Hunter hit a game winning 3 against 3 seed Baylor for the win. He’s taken Georgia State to the NCAA tournament 3 times and IUPUI(once in 2003) so he’s a quality coach. He also coached his son RJ, who was a first round draft pick in 2015.
