Maybe one year... many years from now... Tulsa will be lethal from the foul line.

Those missed FTs ain't helping folks.

If Rick Parks is still living maybe they could get him to come back and work with our players on FT shooting!

That's the game...
Those guys would have beaten many teams today.

I hope we play SFU - don't need to play ISU again.

Getting pounded. Ball handling is an enormous issue.

SDSU - WAY better than ole TU...even without their best player.

Glad Etou had a nice game, though.

Defense standing around protecting the lane where we were killed all day. They get hot on wide open uncontested threes and we can't respond

Our guards can not find the open man.
But they are really good at finding the other team's defender.

Guards win games. Ours got schooled today. Utterly destroyed.

TU playing like garbage...
Look like a bunch of 5th graders against a good high school team...

We have absolutely no flow on offense. We don't move to the ball. We force shots....UGLY!

Tulsa right now is a team of cobbled together sophmores and a bunch of freshmen. Not enough experience. But games like this are exactly what will make this team better in the long run. Don't expect miracles too soon.

6 threes in a few minutes.. hello 3rd place game
6 threes in about 3.5 minutes of game time when they were pretty much 0 for forever before that in this tournament. Weird hot streak that hit us. Ournstring of about 6 straight turnovers didn't help

How many times have we dribbled the ball into the paint and then turned it over?

Remind them of the sign that said "Faulk Tulsa" in 91 and who won. Some blue hairs went medieval on that guy. I was there.

Also, tell them it's "kids eat free" night at the local gentleman's club.
On the lighter side gold. That bue hair was a tough as nail former St. Louis browns catcher. He ripped up the sign with one hand.

On a different note... The band my wife's nephew plays with Streetlight Cadence will be playing at half time in the football game tomorrow in Hawaii.

We had 5 assists and 22 turnovers. They hit 13 of 32 on three pointers and, I think, 7 of those were in a row from 5 to 3 minutes left in the game. We shot ourselves in the foot but that three point flurry was the game.

The assist to turnovers lost this game. Reign of threes nail in coffin

I agree that the team lacks D1 experience. But the soph/freshman comment is not accurate. Five of the eight guys that played 10 minutes or more tonight are juniors and a senior.

SDSU is a tourney this year imo. About as good of a team we could face to prepare us for conference play. As undersized guards; Taplin, Wheeler, and Henderson are going to have to learn to create against such length and athleticism without turning the ball over. Much of what we will see against the likes of Cincy, SMU, and UCONN.

If we come home 2-1, it will have been a good trip. I think we have the talent to compete with these teams, just not the experience or chemistry yet.

Oh and the refs today were absolutely turrible.
