TU takes down Ole Miss in the opener 4-1. They have now won 8 in a row. The game was on the Longhorn Network and they looked good. Freshmen pitcher gave up a HR, but worked out of a couple of jams. She also drove in 2 runs, had a couple of hits and was HBP. She stayed in the game as a position player after being relieved in the 5th. Reliever was solid. The commentators were talking about how young the team is this year. They play Texas at 9:00 tonight.
