The National Signing Day activity is done for the University of Tulsa. The Golden Hurricane has received 20 total letters of intent for the class of 2016, which includes two from the mid-term enrollees. The following is a quick recap of Tulsa's 2016 signees, with focus on in-state and highly-rated prospects, battles with Power Five programs, and more.

Well, no comments on signing day yet? Let me be the first & start with virtually a ton of O & D line recruits combined! The TU QB's & RB's will benefit from these O-Line guys. To quote Coach Monty: "We're gonna run it and stuff it down their throats, even when they know it's coming".(Shades of Arkie Coach Bielema which ain't a bad thing, IMO). And of course, pass protection will be greatly improved in a couple of years. The 2 D-line tackles look like players, too. Speed kills and we got some in the D backfield as well as height & length.Halleluljah!! Very excited about K. Johnson & R. Revels. Both could play early.
For those still hung up on stars, 247 Sports thought very highly of a baker's dozen of these guys including: Brown,Bucktrot,Bunch,Frederick,Johnson,Muhammed,Norris,Revels,Skipper,Stevenson,Stewart,Williams & Miesen-all with 3. ( I know Chris-Rivals does things differently)

All in all, Monty & staff did a wonderful job & with all the offers & research they're doing for 2017 & '18, it will only get better down the line. TU Football: 1st,last,always!
