THAT! What a catch and fight for the ball... No go for the onside kick and do it again, I've got my gold and blue colored glasses on

So it looks like Burnett has already taken over for Revels and he appears to be an upgrade. Very athletic.

Actually, per the radio pregame show, both Burnett & Revels are both backups. They were both injured last season & are now part of our very good second team defense.

I don't think that's what I said, but maybe "He should have been fired 1 year removed from a 10-3 season?" means something different in another language
Yes. He should have been.the last 2 years and this embarrassment are proof that was a fluke.

-46 yds rushing. -25 on that on the 2 missed snaps.

Need to run Wilkerson a few times to just see if he can use his size to move the pile for a couple of yards.

Our offense is responsible for 22 points. Unfortunately 15 for MSU.

Then who’s the started in that role? I can’t imagine that person playing better than Burnett played that half.

This is better than I thought it would be. Hopefully MSU doesn't open up the playbook in the 2nd half.

Obviously piss poor preparation on the part of the offense and special teams.
I actually didn't hate Monty's game plan as far as offense goes. Our receivers have found holes and we've made the throws for first downs. I think this team will look better when we're not playing Michigan State. They're a bad matchup for us in terms of their run defense.

I believe our starters at LB are Collins, Edmiston & Cannon.
Ok. I haven’t seen Cannon out there much. I may be mistaken. I saw #6 who I thought was Revels, and #35 for most of the half after MSUs first drive. I thought Cannon was #4 and I don’t recall seeing him much.

And kudos to Manny Bunch. Probably the best I’ve seen him tackle while at TU.

Michigan State is a team I would have loved to have played at the end of this season in a bowl game rather than an opener. Kind of like Iowa State in 2012. I think we could beat them if we had time to work out the kinks in the O-line.

Thanks. Then Cannon played the 1st series but it looks like Burnett has played since then

I just don't understand how we have two bad snaps and all those penalties. Oh wait, I do understand. The HC/OC doesn't instill discipline in his players nor does he play the best players for specific positions, instead choosing guys who are older.

Bivens is at center now. They removed Couch.
