From earlier post:
If Tulsa rushes for 250 + net yards and no more than 1 turnover they win 42 - 17
If Tulsa rushes for 150 - 200 net yards and has no more than 1 turnover they win 30 - 24
If Tulsa rushes for less than 125 net yards and has more than 1 turnover they lose 21 - 30
Key for Tulsa is to run the football against Tulane then the passing game will open up for big plays.

There is a reason we are rated so low as a defense. Our foot speed is comical. Cannot believe we don't have some younger guys that are quicker.. This is as bad of defense as I have ever seen and the only way to win any games is to outscore the other team. Quit thinking and just go out and run plays.

Dane throws into triple coverage.....interception. Tulane shovel pass, missed tackle in backfield, LBs missing again...TD Tulane. They are fired up, we're not.

I'm just gonna say this cause I have a lot of respect for Tulane. Please don't judge Curtis Johnson's performance with a great game against Tulsa.

Coach Monty on the sideline has a look like a deer in the headlights! Even the announcers are rooting for Tulane now!

Disgusting. Tulane has out recruited us in speed and QB play. Insane. Dane is just so below average. That INT was just terrible decision making. Defense is just a laughing stock, a bunch of high school offenses could destroy our defense.

Why do we even bother keeping a RB in for protection...not sure they've touched a blitzed all season. And Monty has essentially phoned in the rest of the half with this play calling. Good grief

Dane can't read the field remember? But he's a "good" QB if you ask others on here. And the fact that he's "the best by far we have right now" is incredibly scary.

You have to be more imaginative and dominating than a 3-8 team with a fired man coaching...

You suppose Monty is depressed that he jumped too soon with Les Miles being canned at LSU?

Tulane QB was a walkon.

Remember we have had no easy wins this year with the possible exception of New Mexico. I expect we will compete and have a chance in the second half.

If we don't stop Tulane on their first possession of the 2nd half it will be time to play the youngsters that aren't red shirting.

We played not to lose after the early TD. That's a mistake.

Defense isn't just sub-par players. Things have been simplified down to the point that it is predictable.

Dane needs to quit it with the hero throws.

Is there anyone that thinks that this team could beat John Mabee Hall in the "Toilet Bowl" for the coveted "Golden Throne Trophy"?

No and I've played in 20 of them...we always play better defense in Toilet Bowl

I hope Coach Monty has the moxie to pull all the slackers in this half and put in freshmen and walk ons even if he as to have a few play both sides!
