He'll be a senior next year, and he has a history of significant injuries. He broke his fibula in the fourth game this year and was out the rest of the season. He broke his collarbone in the fourth game in 2021 and missed the rest of that season. He suffered another collarbone injury in the first game of the 2022 season, and he didn't come back until the second half of the season.

Let him and Chubba battle it out next year while DK takes a red shirt.

How does he fit our scheme? Because honestly I have no idea what our identity is on the offensive side of the football. With our OL we can’t consistently move the ball without a dual threat QB.

Pass. Our coaching staff couldn’t win with Tom Brady. Hit up the portal for a new coaching staff

🙄🙄 another limp dick fan that is ok with losing. I still believe Nebraska is a blue blood and I demand a competent coaching staff

You don’t demand ****, you just ***** nonstop, like a woman on her period. You responded to a thread about a potential transfer QB by crying. You’re just a clown.

You get what you put up with… you put up with losing because you’re a loser …

Devin Brown of OSU will be entering the portal. He battled McCord for the starting job - has a strong arm and is very mobile.

No idea, but there will be plenty.
I am going to say Malik Murphy from UT, either Brown or Kienholz or both leave OSU, Vandagriff leaves UGA, and Bama loses at least one QB. Plus several others from non P5 schools will move up, like the guy from Texas St, Tulane, etc.
We need at least one new QB, maybe 2, but I don’t think Satt is the answer at OC no matter what Rhule says to back him up.

If we get him in he'll be asked to run the ball 10-15 times a game using qb power, option and designed runs.

from the looks of it, Satt has zero interest in calling a power running/option game

he only did it when forced to with HH at QB (it worked, we won)

now with sims/purdy he's back to pass happy - what he knows and loves

people will quote this with the run/pass ratio on Saturday, but conveniently leave out the fact that 10 of chubba's runs were called passes.

Chubba did run the best qb option with the fake pitch I've seen since Solich roamed the sidelines. I hope he can build on that thus week.

THIS^^^^^ this is the question I've been asking all along... I have no idea what it is Nebraska wants to be now or in the future... can anyone definitively say what Rhule wants this offense to look like in the next few years? and does DK fit that mold after his red shirt?

I don’t want him or Chubba battling for anything, either or both could die. Chubba himself is always injured… I mean this dude is even in a walking boot in his Twitter picture, he probably can’t find a picture of himself where he isn’t hurt.

I’m sure Joey McGuire will give Matty a sob story on this kid and Rhule will think he’s getting some gem cause Matt’s ability to pick a QB is levels of moronic that’s hard to quantify.

We can add him to Teddy Bridgewater, Sam Darnold, and Jeff Simms list and the ostriches on this board will make excuses how this wasn’t Matt Rhule’s fault

Raiola is a pass first QB. Kaelin the same. The 2025 recruit the same but athletic. They want a smart guy with an accurate P5 arm and mobility. IF they can get that in a 4.5 to 4.6 guy no doubt they would like it. I think you’re seeing what they want to do offensively with Purdy in those 2 minute drills.

Thought I read a quote from Rhule once where he will adjust the offense to the qb. I think his preference is to have a qb who can run. Personally I prefer a pass first qb with legit scrambling ability. Have to be able to hit open passes. Hard to consistently win if your qb can't hit open passes.
