careless and reckless...do I think he wants some one to harm Hillary no, but his statement was bad.

This doesn't mean I'm going to vote/support Hillary either...she has proven to be careless and reckless as well.

Good Grief! Obly folks with vivid imaginations and a negative Trump agenda have gone off the deep end and drawn conclusions that are not based anywhere in fact. I have listened to his comment at least a dozen times and hear nothing that implies anything like many are supposing he was intending. Man, do we need to grow up and stop the over use of imaginations. What Hillary has DONE is fact; the complaints against Trump are, in very large measure, the work of subversives spinning as hard as possible. Disgraceful!

I agree he wasn't overt with his statements...he didn't say for people to go out and shoot Hillary. But, he left it open to interpretation and he has to learn the media-crats are going to slant it in the direction they desire - he should have learned that by now.

You are obviously a dumbass. Many Repubs have come out critical of Trump's wreckless remarks. It's no secret what a "2nd Amendment solution" is. Anyone paying attention knows this. The wingnuts spout it all the time.

He said "2nd Amendment solution" or are you making that up? His comments were bad, but you don't have to make stuff-up or lie about it.

When he says there "is nothing we can do about" her SC picks then says maybe you "2nd Amendment people" could do something about it (after the fact-not before the election) , even an idiot such as yourself should know what he's talking about.

I saw what he said - he didn't use the term "2nd Amendment solution".

“If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks,” Mr. Trump said, as the crowd began to boo. He quickly added: “Although the Second Amendment people — maybe there is, I don’t know.”

I'm sure you're smart enough to find his comments on the web.

Not to mention she has never called to abolish the 2nd amendment. Freaking cray cray gun nuts gonna ruin it for us sensible owners. But hey, ya gotta scare the rubes into voting against their own economic interests. They Trumpies are gonna be grumpies come November, math ain't their strong suit.

Probably hard to get a real read on what her plan is when she doesn't give press conferences where people can ask the question.

Very confusing comments from Trump. How could it possibly be that the people with guns and believe the 2nd gives right to "keep and bare arms" should vote against Hillary who is not a great proponent of the 2nd.

The current SCOTUS decides 5:4 margin that we have the 2nd Amendment right. If Hillary appoints two liberal judges, the court majority becomes liberal and will probably decide that you do not have that right.

Trump was advocating voting against Hillary. He has got to be given credit of being smart enough to not advocate shooting the *****. She did openly advocate removal of Obama in 2004. Parsing words is not her strong suite as she would suggest.

I don't want, or expect, you to answer this question on the board. However, just ask yourself "if Hillary had said the EXACT same thing, would my interpretation be different?" "would I listen to it a dozen times and hear nothing that implies what many are inferring?"

Maybe I'm missing something here, but since when does POTUS or SCOTUS have the power to amend the Constitution?

Very good. Legally, that is up to congress and states, but SCOTUS has been a little proactive in writing the law. Acting in majority, they do have those certain rights to interpret what a law says. Presidents makes the change by proclamation and the citizens do not enforce law as written.

Ha! I've heard many GOP leaders including the former director of the CIA say how wreckless Trump's remarks are. He knows Trump was talking about the "2nd Amendment solution" that the gun nuts and survivalists always talk about, I know that is what he was talking about. And you know that is what he was talking about. So who's being dishonest here?

Yep just like when Hillary eluded that Obama could be assassinated in June during the 2008 primaries so she should stay in the race...or when Biden dared Obama to come take his guns...that he would have "problems" - we all know what that means.

Yes. And I also can comprehend the English language, remember history, and discern between irresponsibly joking/inciting about assassination of a President and rationalizing about a candidate not withdrawing from the race.

hmmm...seems the Obama team and other Dems felt differently at the time.

Bill Burton, a spokesman for the Obama campaign, which has refrained from engaging Mrs. Clinton in recent days, said her statement “was unfortunate and has no place in this campaign.”

Privately, aides to Mr. Obama were furious about the remark.

It was against that backdrop that Mrs. Clinton’s mentioning the Kennedy assassination in the same breath as her own political fate struck some as going too far. Representative James E. Clyburn of South Carolina, an uncommitted
superdelegate, said through a spokeswoman that the comments were “beyond the pale.”

Don't blame me for the media reported at the time...Obama's team was furious and many in the media and DNC thought it was dangerous...sorry you can't see that...but it doesn't surprise me or anyone.

That was 8 years ago...has she apologized and learned from her mistake? I'm betting she apologized, what with her running a competent campaign and all. Let's see if Trump apologizes and learns from his lol...I almost got through that sentence.

BTW, this whole thing is nonsense but as per usual, Trump would rather spend his time here. Total blowout. Sad!

Sure it was 8 years ago...but some act like a DNC candidate would never infer something harmful towards another candidate...I provided two incidents that disprove that thought. Hell Biden outright dared Obama to come take his guns and face a "problem" because he had other guns.

Hilarious how ignorant and obstinate you are. This latest Trump dumbass statement is one of a couple dozen episodes demonstrating how unfit he is to serve as president. His dumbass supporters are so blinded by hate that they can't see what a buffoon they are supporting. These people are willing to turn over the keys to the country to a completely irresponsible, undiscliplined, egomaniacal, narcissistic dumbass. You people have lost your minds.
