Amazing knowledge!! wow I've never heard one person say anything bad about Obamacare except for on this board and right wing talking heads. Many millions of Americans are thankful for all or many aspects of it. Republicans want to keep the most popular parts of it. Your hyperbole is over the top as usual but that is like the sun coming up.
You need smarter friends.

Obamacare has been a disaster. Not sure how you shine that one up.

There are good parts to it, parts that Trump wants to keep:
Not being denied for a pre-existing condition.
No catastrophic limits.
Children remaining on their parents' plans until the age of 26.

The Republicans had plenty of chances to make changes. In fact they did make some changes, that is why the right always mocks Obama about the line of keeping your doctor. That was his intentions but as a result of changes made by Republicans, that went out the window.

I agree with the first part. The 2nd part is complete horseshit

From my "liberal" prospective, it seems like we are in a political pissing contest on which political party will take the credit for a universal health care system......the Democrats don't want the Republicans to keep what they call the "good" and get any of the credit. The Republicans don't want it to remain the same because it will always be nicknamed "ObamaCare", giving the credit to the Democrats.

So, in the end, who gets screwed......yep.....the PEOPLE! I say let the Republicans tweak it, if it means keeping insurance for those that have it and need it.....who the F**K cares who is given credit!!!!! There are sick people out there with jobs but no health insurance. The PEOPLE is all that matters.

It has been a an unpopular program since the beginning. It has helped some people and hurt far more. It is still underwater in the polls. And has been since its inception.

You can whine and cry all you want and claim it's been a wild success but facts are facts.
The right's hate for all things BO is something to behold. I'm still excited about Trumpcare.

There has been a 20% overall increase in health care premiums since the ACA was passed. They (Republicans) are right. However, what they are NOT telling you is the entire truth. That 20% is still LOWER than the increase in premiums in the decade BEFORE the ACA was passed......

And 2/3 of all those currently insured would be covered by Medicaid anyway, at least according to the architect of it.

I agree and disagree. I agree with your first part and that there are a couple of things in Obama care worth saving.

But as you can read in the attached, the Republicans were cut out of the Obamacare debate purposely. At the time the Democrats had 60 senators and did not need the GOP to pass Obamacare.

And what you are describing is inaccurate as well. Deductibles have skyrocketed. And premium increases this year are going up at an extraordinary pace. Because insurance companies want to make up for losses incurred in prior years.

Obama promised, promised the American people a $2500 savings per family. The opposite has been true.

You are correct, the Dems had control when it passed but Republicans got control in 2014 and they could have made changes.

Do you not know the filibuster? The Republicans had nowhere near 60 senators to overcome a filibuster.
