They do have it but what they don't have in a single place is the combination of that data linked to voter registration status, party affiliation, and voting history. No federal agency currently has a unified national file that tells you who is registered to vote, what party they're in, how often they vote, and where they live, something they've never had.
hadn't thought about party affiliation and voting history and registration status...but they already know where I live...I can tell you for sure they don't know my party affiliation..I get almost daily requests for donations from both Democrat and republican candidates..and I'm an independent.
