BREAKING: President Trump just signed an executive order WITHHOLDING federal funding for states and cities using cashless bail
"Cashless bail... that was when the big crime in this country started"
"They KlLL people and they get out. Cashless bail. They thought it was discriminatory to make people put up money because they just kiIIed three people lying on a street."
FINALLY!
Like most of Trump's statements and actions, this one is a remarkably stupid purely political action taken with virtually no thought:BREAKING: President Trump just signed an executive order WITHHOLDING federal funding for states and cities using cashless bail

FINALLY!
I got the same letter from AllianzI don't want to make light of this, but just yesterday I got a letter from Allianz telling me my data has been hacked, in the past, the DoD lost my data, the company I retired from was hacked, data taken, and there were a couple of others that were hacked and my data supposedly taken. Right now I have 2 free monitoring services and now will pick up a 3rd with the Allianz hack.
Seems like big welcome to the digital world
Trump is an elected official, of course just about 100% of his actions are political and he throws out these issues where he has no business (you're right about that IMO) and gets exactly the reaction you did from the democrat leaders.Like most of Trump's statements and actions, this one is a remarkably stupid purely political action taken with virtually no thought:
1. He is doing this because of alt-right culture war assertions that liberal "wokesters" are objecting to the requirement of bail in order to avoid incarceration pending a criminal trial, and calling that bail requirement "racist." Although there are surely people out there who believe that, the plain truth is that the bail decision is generally going to hinge far more on other factors, like the severity of the criminal charges, the risk to public safety, the accused's ties to the community, the accused's criminal record (or lack thereof), etc..
And the bail decision is more likely to be either an OR (released pending trial on the accused's "own recognizance," meaning no cash bail is required) release, or no pretrial release at all, meaning that the amount of the bail is not a factor because the accused is gonna be held in jail regardless. Moreover, the typical bail regime requires that the accused post assets worth only ten percent of the penal amount at which bail bond is set. Unless the bail amount is really high, the accused is generally gonna be able to raise ten percent of that amount.
2. Criminal defendants facing murder charges rarely get released from jail pending trial. So your statement about it being "discrimination to make people put up money because they just killed three people lying on a street" is just a bunch of factually unsupported hyperventilating.
3. More objectionable than anything else is Cheeto Hitler's comical effort to dictate to state and local governments how their bail system should operate, when that subject is quite clearly a matter for state and local regulation, NOT federal regulation. This is just one more comical example of a ham handed effort by Cheeto Hitler to try and dictate state and local policy (in which he has zero business) via the threat to withhold federal funds. Phuck him ...
Anyone who voted for this moron should get an automatic IQ penalty of 80 points. As if they were smart to begin with ...![]()

Mark it down. It's happening.
I hope you caught this big story.
“DHS's New Election Integrity Czar Has Receipts On Pennsylvania's 2020 Fraud”
The democrats and the media really FEAR this woman.
“Left-wing media outlets pounced this week to attack President Donald Trump’s new appointee for the Department of Homeland Security’s election-integrity czar.”
“Outlets including the Associated Press and ProPublica accused Heather Honey of being an “election denier” for the doubts she has cast over the 2020 election outcome.”
Anybody with half a brain, is an “election denier” of the 2020 election.
Only a fool would believe that Biden got 81 million votes.
The fraudulent conspiracy is going to be exposed. It’s only a matter of time.
This is just the latest story to keep the stolen 2020 election narrative going and fresh in people’s minds.
“However, Honey’s supporters pointed to the fact that she has the receipts to back up her skepticism—including evidence that Pennsylvania, a hotbed for vote fraud by many accounts, finished with 121,240 more votes than voters.”
Did you catch that?
There were OVER 121,000 more votes counted, than there were voters registered.
Obvious fraud.
Remember, Trump supposedly lost Pennsylvania in 2020 by 80,555 votes.
And Pennsylvania wasn’t the only state that had more votes counted than registered voters.
“Heather Honey’s work has never been refuted,” wrote Liz Harrington, Trump’s former campaign spokesperson. “She’s uncovered enough evidence to overturn the fraudulent 2020 election in multiple states.”
Honey—who worked closely with Trump’s campaign lawyers such as Public Interest Legal Foundation chair Cleta Mitchell—played significant roles in the efforts to challenge Georgia’s final ballot count and the forensic audit of Arizona’s election, which uncovered widespread irregularities.
According to Mitchell, she confirmed more votes than voters in Michigan, as well.”

Michigan had more votes counted than registered voters too.
All of this is going to be exposed, in order to completely transform our entire election system.
It’s all planned and timed.
My bet is it will happen, well before the midterms and it will change everything.
Trump is an elected official, of course just about 100% of his actions are political and he throws out these issues where he has no business (you're right about that IMO) and gets exactly the reaction you did from the democrat leaders. Glad we agree on this.
Think about it, now democrats are fighting against keeping criminals behind bars after they have been arrested. Wait, wut?! What makes you think, much less post, something crazy like that?! Democrats are not against keeping criminals behind bars. But when someone is arrested, he or she is an accused, not a criminal. There is a presumption of innocence. That is your first mistake. Second, expressing discontent or disagreement concerning the objectively disparate effect of cash bail is a far cry from being "against keeping criminals [or criminal defendants] behind bars. As I noted in a prior post, the ability to raise money for bail is only one of many criteria affecting an accused's ability to avoid pretrial detention. Like you they don't like Trump's actions. So now, Trump is for jailing criminals and democrats are for arresting them and putting them right back on the streets. Again, that is an objectively incorrect statement Like it or not, a segment of voters in 2024 were in favor of keeping criminals in jail and off the streets. Pretty much all voters were in favor of that.
Trump seems to be an expert at putting democrats in the position of supporting things - just because they have to be anti everything Trump - that a large segment of voters are against. Wrong. If this were the case, Trump's net approval rating would not be a negative figure.
Look at this crime/national guard thing in Chicago. So now, the mayor and governor are on record supporting the level of crime in the city. Composed like a true Trump Cultist. They don't want help from the feds everything is under control. They don't want Cheeto Hitler's version of "help," which it to send in federalized National Guard under Trump's personal control, and over their objection. And they are correct in not wanting that "help." But there's a rather large and vocal segment that don't agree and see Trump as the answer to the problem. (They're mistaken. Trump is not the answer to any question other than "Who is the only POITUS in history who is a convicted felon?") The leaders in the city should not take the bait. Admit there's a problem (there is) welcome the fed's help, let the federal government pay for it, get out in front of the issue, take credit for it and get crime under control. But, they just can't do it. They can't make it appear as If Trump is right about anything. Because Trump is not right. Yet again.
Same thing happens with the undocumented migrant issue. In the minds of Americans without TDS, democrats are for keeping undocumented migrants in the US, like Abrego Garcia and trump is for deporting traffickers.
Somehow democrats can't see that they're getting played. They need to get in front of the issues and not be just responding to Trump. Composed like a committed Trump Cultist. A very civil Trump Cultist, but a Trump Cultist nonetheless.
you know bear, I always enjoy your retorts. It's obvious we see things differently, and so did a majority of Americans in November 2024.Ned: Your post, below, demonstrates a distinct misunderstanding of things. C'mon now. You can do better, my friend.
BREAKING: Tom Homan just said "We are playing the AWAY GAME" with the cartels now! I have a feeling they're about to see hellfire rain down on their empire.
"We are BANKRUPTING them. We are going to play the away game. We are tired of playing the home game. We want to play the away game now and President Trump is committed to ENDING the cartel violence in this country."
"Their time in the United States is limited under President Trump."
Thank you @RealTomHoman and @POTUS for Making America Safe Again!
