Trump's Authoritarian Playbook is fully open now. He's directly telling his nazi followers "this witch hunt is really an attack on you (his nazi followers), and they're coming after me because I'm the only one standing between them and you."

This is authoritarianism 101. This is the end game. Stay frosty out there, decent people.

Another great moment from the trump interview. Brett Baier points out that when trump calls for the death penalty for drug dealers, that would also apply to the woman he brags about pardoning as president, Alice Johnson. He really made trump look like a complete and total buffoon.

Typical Trump. He just spouts nonsense soundbites that he knows his idiot disciples will eat up. He has no plans or real ideas about how to actually accomplish anything.

How anyone buys his ******** is beyond me.

NYT: Voters in Philadelphia black barbershops say the country was better off under Trump…

June 27, 2023 ( ago)

A recent New York Times article is full of some very interesting political nuggets. The crux of the piece is cabot the sharp contrast between how President Trump governed the country versus Joe Biden. It’s so pronounced that it’s hard to ignore. According to the New York Times, this topic is actually being discussed in such unlikely places as Philadelphia’s black barber shops. But the discussion goes beyond just chatting about the differences between President Trump and Biden — they’re admitting that things were better under President Trump.
The New York Times:
This month, Mayor Paige Cognetti of Scranton, Pa., and three other Pennsylvania mayors hopped in a rented van for a road trip across the state to promote projects funded by the Biden administration because they were concerned voters didn’t know about them.
They met in Harrisburg with Lt. Gov. Austin Davis, a Democrat who won office last year. Mr. Davis said Mr. Biden had done “some tremendous things” but worried that voters were unaware. He recalled campaigning in Black barbershops in Philadelphia and hearing that voters felt the country was better off under Mr. Trump.
Polling conducted in May for Way to Win, a Democratic-aligned group, found that only 22 percent of Latino voters and 33 percent of Black voters were aware of “any specific thing” Mr. Biden had done in office to improve their lives.
“There’s no single sentence that everybody can repeat that is sticking,” said Tory Gavito, the president of Way to Win. “What’s happening is the G.O.P. is flooding the airwaves with a narrative of economic failure, and it’s starting to resonate.”
That would explain all the new mainstream polling that shows President Trump beating Biden. President Trump leads Biden by a 7-point margin in the new survey from Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll.

No wonder the barber shops are buzzing.
Now, this is where things get really juicy — just picture if RFK Jr. played his cards right with this? By simply asking folks if they’re doing better now under Biden than they were with Trump, he could really fire up his campaign and throw a huge wrench in Biden’s plans.
The question is, does RFK really have the balls to go for Biden’s jugular, or is his campaign performative? Stay tuned.
