They will go un-named but not un-recognized...we all know who they are.
They’re unrelenting hatred led to many epic threads.
I do not include Cali among them, unlike me he’s a loyal son who truly wants the best for Rutgers athletics, you want him on your team and in your corner.

I already know he’s rooting hard for GS to succeeded and prosper.

This post probably won’t last long, hopefully Cali reads it before it’s deleted

Why do you think this would be deleted? It seems a rather uncontroversial post. Even the parts about Cali...everybody knows he a) loves Rutgers, and b) is kind of annoying. :)

Why does it have to be Us vs Them? We're all here for the same reason. It's called having an opinion and you know the old saying about opinions.
Not all of us, their were obvious trolls who will now root against us.
Their favorite team will be whoever we’re playing against.
Believe me, I know people who never want us to win a game...like us they are completely energized by the return of GS... they can’t wait to see him lose

There are those who won't even give this a chance.

Being concerned about whether Schiano can replicate his previous success doesn't make me a troll. Now that he's signed, I want him to prove my concerns unfounded and wildly exceed his previous success.
I found you to always be courteous and respectful in all your posts. Never doubted your being a fan.
Hell the he-man club is only around 10 people...out of thousands

I think you will see that Schiano is uniquely attractive as a R head coach and Rutgers is uniquely attractive to Schiano.

And I think (hope and pray) he is going to hit the ground running, and eventually kick *** here!

I still look forward to you spilling what you knew all along but wouldn't say.
The highest place source anyone could possibly have didn’t know anything more than the trend at the moment.
Even BOG members didn’t know what was going to happen

bad OP, in poor taste.

frankly, the the way many RU posters have been acting during all this, both the pro and con Schiano types, has been disgusting. your post continues this nonsense.

The Trolls /GS haters were popping up constantly like hemorrhoids and being a pain in the ***. They need to either get on board with supporting the school or need to get out.

A lot of snakes in the grass on our board the past few weeks..some prominent posters. Dont worry the Schiano haters will still be here

The true fan base will unite to mend it's fences under Schiano. Some will be critical and rightly so should he do anything worth being criticized for....the OP among them.

Mark it down however that with your previous history on this board of being a Schiano 1.0 basher and calling out other posters for years as being Pollyannas. That you will be among the first to call out other posters for supporting him at the first sign of trouble.

You last sentence is really ironic. Because according to some of the most vocal Schiano supporters, they were not going to renew their season tickets and stop donating if Greg was not hired. Some even called fans who continued to go to the games this season idiots and other names. Some of us fans support whoever is the current head coach and cheer for players. And for me, I am behind Greg and the team 100%.

I had hoped that Rutgers would have been able to attract a coach with a higher ceiling than Schiano. But I recognize that fan sentiment made it impossible for Rutgers to seriously look elsewhere and impossible for anyone else with options to consider coming to Rutgers.

That's OK. A big purpose of having a college football program is to engage a fanbase. So it is not unreasonable to give the fans what they want.

But I hope that Schiano is successful and enjoys strong fan support (especially financial support) since we will be stuck with him for at least 8 years, and potentially stuck with his debt for decades.

Because the school got exposed. It was about the future state of this program. They want to fool everyone again and keep them pacified. Not this time. Historic moment in RU history. Negatoids were on wrong side of history. They came to agitate. I was gone from this program. I came back because of the outcome.

Sorry, but that is not "supporting your school" as you stated it. You can't make statement like that and qualify it around one football coach, unless you put a "but" or "unless" in your statement.

There are people who gravitate to situations and stir **** up. They have existed for millennia. Rabble rousers, community organizers, useful idiots. The internet has just made it easier for them. They are a particular sub-class of humans, along with nosey neighbors and busy bodies.

Kind of like stunted serial killers. They get off on getting a reaction out of strangers. They don't want to murder strangers, just bother them incessantly.

The Cantonese speakers call them:
狗屎攪拌棒
**** stirring sticks...

I disagree. Sitting around like you did and allowing Hobbs to destroy this program and do nothing is not supporting the school. Supporting is what everyone did , walk , pull donations contact the powers .

I understand your POV. I am not a Schiano-only. I am a Rutgers-only. And, at this time, I don’t think Rutgers could attract a better HC. And I think Hobbs and the search firm tried.

And, going forward, I think Schiano is incredibly motivated. EXTREMELY motivated. Both by the incredible fan support and by his detractors.

Did you forget that the search firm came up with Schiano???
