Mark has to do what’s best for Kentucky Basketball first. Getting Momcilovic would absolutely be the best move of the offseason in my opinion. You always need to go after the very best talent even if it takes some playing time from another player. It kinda sucks for Kam, but he is going to be a SIX man of the year candidate in the SEC if it happens. I think both will get time though because of the way we sub so much. I certainly understand your concern with it for sure, young players want all the playing time they can get. With Mark being who he is, I’d say he’s had conversations with the team about this. Thanks for the post though, it’s definitely something to consider.

I am just going to say this. Paying one guy 6+ million creates special locker room issues- Large pay disparities between players will absolutely create problems. Bringing in a guy last, and all he wants to do (can do) is be James Hardin and shoot lights out. Coach's climbing up the jock strap of all the others to defend and rebound as well as score- what can go wrong?

Kam could play the 3 which he should anyway and Justin can get in the lineup at the 3 as well from his handle that I’ve seen. He would be a good big man lineup with Mom at the 3-4-5. They were recruited to play a role and Momcilivic is a better fit and player overall. He would be the starter.
