Trilly says JQ to UL

[BStockfan01]

You know what im happy cal doesn't get his prized recruit sucks hes going to ul but well still handle that rag tag program like usual

[RunninRichie]

They paid him a bag probably. Good. Id rather him at UL than Arkansas.

[Catzman]

Laughable if that's where he goes. Makes me think that tweet about "man to man, don't contact my kid without talking to me first" Twitter post of his sound like he was maybe talking about Cal.

So why couldn’t we keep him? We have cash and a pre existing LOI. I don’t like this at all screw UfoL.

[OldSmoky]

WHAT????? one guy says hes going to u6 so hes going. ill wait till it comes from the kids mouth

[UKWildcats1987]

Yeah, disappointing he is staying in KY at our rival.

[RoyKent]

That would really suck! A great player they get for two years that will really give their new coach some credit immediately.

I’d rather he follow Cal to Ark

[TCurtis75_rivals88839]

not surprising since UL just added his former coach or AD to their staff

[anonymous_2024]

Really need some good news soon....

[RunninRichie]

Yeah, disappointing he is staying in KY at our rival.

UL isn't a rival.

Louisville hired his former high school AD to its staff.

Yeah I know but still. They also hired Wagner’s grandpa and that didn’t work. Granted it’s a new staff but the fact we could’ve get him already signed with a bag of cash and PT is strange to me. Pope has a better track record at a bigger school too.

But this kid is 16...having a familiar face in college at that age might be extremely beneficial to him

[UK-Chulo]

Do they get DJ now?

[colonelcat78]

Good question. I have never heard of their coach before.

[legalbeagle123]

The Trilly tweet isn't specific. Could be Khalifa or another guy visiting.

[travisbickle_rivals252984]

That would be a very interesting development.

Cal not exactly killing it on the re-recruiting trail.

Different humans. I’d say while he is talented he doesn’t fit what Pope runs very well. I don’t expect any of the recruits to stay but Fland is really the only one that I would think Pope thinks fits very well.

[Son_Of_Saul]

Screw Calipari. I hope he loses every game next year and that all his recruits abandon him.

I hope about 5 of them don’t get paid and pull a Sharpe.

[Kamuka]

If they get DJ I doubt they get Fland. No way he will want to come off the bench when he's good enough to be a starter at a strong program.

[Catlogic15]

I played three sports in high school and have no clue who our Athletic Director was.

Maybe it gives us a shot with Fland.

[Short-Dawg-69]

Awesome get for them.
Pretty dang good source has he/they are pretty much correct most of the time.

[Mike-D]

Nah, fk Cal. Look at the mess we have. He can burn down with us.

[Twindaddy2003+1]

Why leave uk for ul if your not going to follow cal? Makes no sense

[UK-Chulo]

Nobody has heard of UK’s new coach. UofL has…..well, a coach nobody has heard of.

Money is likely similar and there is a personal connection at UL now.

[RoyKent]

Surprised that he won’t give UK a shot yet will consider UL with a totally unknown coach there

[MidseasonTweak]

He was ordered to go to UL from Cal as a way for us to be double bent over (kidding), but sucks nonetheless.

[JRandoUK]

I guess they pulled all the money from football to basketball

[BBNinSC_rivals62411]

I really did not like this kid’s hair anyway

[hoggwildcat]

It's Khalifa, not Quaintance

[TFCat11]

U6 outbid everyone, plain and simple. It’s not so much about the coach anymore, rather, Show me the Money!

[ToniTonyToneDelkDelkDelk]

new administration is not off to a promising start

[Oboro3_rivals101424]

Kid doesn't fit in our style of offense. He is old school post up player.

Pope played a post player off the bench this year. But ok.

[Shaudylo]

Louisville hired his former high school AD to its staff.

Ahhh it makes sense now

[Oboro3_rivals101424]

He doesn't want to play on the perimeter. The kid would not be that effective trying to pass to cutters. We need big guys similar to how Big Z and Mitchell played.

[blackcat714]

Guess i rather lose to Louisville as well if i had to choose
