The new Emerson Hubbard and Allen coop beginning this fall will be known as the Tri County Northeast Wolfpack. Colors are black, silver, and carolina blue.

Activities that will be shared include:
Jr. High: Football, Volleyball, Wrestling, Boys and Girls Basketball, Boys and Girls Track

Varsity: Volleyball, Wrestling, Boys and Girls Basketball, Boys and Girls Track, Boys and Girls Golf, Cheer and Dance

All signs point to them cooping football at the next cycle which IMO is a must. Hopefully this brings some stability to these two schools that have been declining quite a bit over the past few years. I still have my fears for them long term though.

I like it. Hopefully there has been discussions on a full consolidation down the road IMO. This co-op isn’t going to be the long term fix with more kids going to Wakefield and Pender.

I believe when an Allen kid options out they usually go to Ponca, not to Wakefield. Emerson kids usually go to Pender, but I think they've had a few go to Wakefield the last few years. Hopefully this will help a little so kids won't feel the need to.....time will tell. At least the two schools are trying to do something, I'll give them that.
