In the Eastern Plains Conference, Beddingfield is in first place at 4-0. Washington is second at 3-1, and SW Edgecombe is in third at 3-1, with their loss being to Washington. In the final week of the regular season, Washington has a near gimme vs North Johnston, so it is highly likely that they will be 4-1. But the game that decides everything will be SWE hosting Bfield. If Bfield wins, they are sole champions at 5-0, and SWE finishes third, no matter what happens with Wash/NJ. But if SWE wins, then it's a 3 way tie, factoring Washington's likely victory, with all three teams being 4-1, losing to each other. If SWE wins and Washington loses (3-2), then SWE (4-1) will be sole champs by virtue of the victory over Bfield (4-1). In case of the 3 way tie, the draw has already been made and for playoff seeding, it's 1 Washington 2 SWE 3 Beddingfield. Are there any other conferences that have to deal with the mess of three champs? I haven't seen it since 1998 when it was SWE, Bertie, and Hertford County in the 3A Big Eight.
