I listened to this with the sound off and developed my own theory about how he came to be a zoo owner: a mob guy controls a black market for exotic meats. The Mastro family found themselves in debt to said mob guy and were forced to live on the farm and raise the animals. It's basically the plot of The Freshman.

That's not far from where I grew up. I'll have to swing by next time I'm in Stilly!

It's by Washington St, which is the same street that The Strip is on. If you go south on Washington to about where Trevor's zoo is, you can look north and see the Edmon Low Library. Really special around Christmastime when the library is lit up!
