Looked at the replay several times and while I know it was not a dirty play I do think William was trying to
prevent Duval from having straight path to the basket.

No. I don’t think it’s anything real serious, though. He’s just going to have to play through a little pain. At this point in the season, a lot of guys from a lot of teams are playing with some pain and soreness.

My guess is the reason he wouldn’t have played on Saturday had more to do with it being the day after than anything else. It probably swelled up and just got sore. He wasn’t moving very well in that UNC game.

Ankle injuries can linger and after a game swelling will come back. The NCAA format does allow players time to recovery somewhat from fatigue, but not really from injury
