Trent Noah released from NLI

Would be a legendary move by Pope to get the two best in state players
Didn’t see that coming. Surely he is coming to UK.
Yeah this is either Kentucky or Louisville, or another school in the area. He said he wants to play closer to home
Get Lanier Robinson, and let Perry Chandler and Noah develop then you have 3 scorers ready to go for year 2
Ahhhh, interesting development, very interesting.
I am interested, too.
Averaged 30 a game for Harlan Co this past season.
In state kid that fits Popes offense perfectly.
One of the top Kentucky high school players. A lot of fans talked about the possibility of him backing out of his SC NLI to come play for Kentucky.
He's a shooter/scorer as a 6-6 small forward. High three/low four star.
2nd best player in KY last season. Played against Travis Perry for state title. Good shooter.
I guess the people starting 100 threads about him can rejoice.
Seems like a solid depth piece and the type of guy you can get to fill out the roster without expectation of much playing time this coming season so all for it.

In History
Noah maybe the best shooter in the history of Kentucky high school basketball
hmmm...makes you think a school he was interested in had a coach who wasn't interested in him and now the new coach is interested.

saw him a couple of times, not that impressed
too short to play forward & too slow to play guard
all for in state kids, but not sure of this one

Gonna be some sore cock fans.
If Noah Chandler and Perry develop this year, they can all become really good players in year 2, and Kentucky would have their backcourt set
This is not realistic.
A few twitter sources have been saying for some time someone would enter the portal with the intent of coming to UK and fans would be happy about it.
I'm wonder if this is who they were talking about?

This isn't a portal player.
It isn’t at all I agree, and it most likely will not happen at all, but if it did that would be huge for pope and Kentucky going foward
They were just naming who he also considered at the time of the SC commitment, doesn't really matter at this point. There will be other schools involved now.
It's either us or Louisville and he already knows which one.
Thanks for including the " fan" part.
Another kid who blew up between their Junior and Senior seasons. He is a gamer, absolutely passed the physical and eye test on the 3SSB circuit. Definitely someone that Cal should have shown interest in, but didn’t.
Western Ky is a player here along with Tennessee according to pilgrim
Same thing that was said about Sheppard this time last year
Everyone is entitled to their opinion but coaching against him for 3 yrs in a row…….i beg to differ. He will only get better and can play 15 or so mins right now in sec. A solid piece to add and will only continue to get better, people complained about Reed for months when offered then look what he became. Noah played aau with Reed for a while if that tells you anything, hearing us, tenn & Louisville are the big players for him.
