When these kids tell a reporter that there are OVER 20 schools "in contact" with them, they are ACTUALLY saying "I'm looking for the MOST MONEY I can get out there and WHO is willing to give it to me???" JMHO
White was one of the guys that Skyy Clark was going to "recruit hard and bring in with me" when Clark was a UK commitment.
He was very highly ranked, etc..as a younger guy and then as peers grew, he dropped and faded. Interested to see if anything comes of this interest.

I think almost every player we'd want to be here fits the bill of wanting to go where they can earn the most and actually have a prominent role.
I dont get Livingston returning. He won't play the 4 and edwards isn't playing the 4. Bradshaw supposedly may be the 4 so where are the minutes coming from?
I just don't see Livingston being cool with playing backup 3 minutes only.
Reeves is cool and if he is the 6th man he will thrive in it and the mins are there for him anyways. Don't see the same for Livingston.
It's why I don't get people faux outraging over good transfers not wanting to come here to compete.
I like white as a multi position guy that can do a lot of things. Uk loves it's Dallas area guys
We need a backup 3/4. That's what Livingston was supposed to be. Even if Bradshaw plays 28-30 mpg and Edwards plays 28-30 mpg, there's 20 minutes available for a "good transfer."
Why do you think it's a crazy thought to think that it's beyond reason to expect Cal to bring in a 3/4 who is okay with 20 to 25 minutes a game, on a potential title contender?
It's not "faux outrage" that is driving the disgruntlement over transfers not wanting to come here. The anger is there because Cal simply doesn't value depth as much as he should. The portal transfers are there. Cal just doesn't care.
Hard pass on this kid. Knecht is 2x the player and a much higher ceiling! We missed badly on that kid. Mark this thread and try to tell me I’m wrong next year after we all witness It.
Adou Theiro will most likely get better. You have the best option to be a backup wing already on the team.
He is to next year's team what Allen Edwards was to the 96 team: not ready yet.
A wise coach would not put faith into the entire group of Thiero, Onyenso, Sheppard, and Ware. You count on one of those guys to break out, not three or four of them.
If uk had a real coach, then he would have had that because bradshaw would be playing inside where he belongs. But good Ole ccc promised him to be the next Kevin Durant
Kentucky is going to need a 3-4 hybrid player regardless so if it’s Livingston which I doubt happens, they have to get somebody form the portal

What guys out there do you think we should be going after at that position, that would be ok with 15 minutes a game coming off the bench? Im sure there are some out there, but its got to be the perfect fit.
I have said in a couple of threads. We need the big power forward from Tenn. Oyenso and Bradshaw and one of Oscar or Hunter are our only bigs. Ware doesn’t count. Cal will screw up this roster, just watch.
Bradshaw isn't big enough to be the starting 5. You would ***** up a storm if that happened.
And let's see what the unathletic guy from 12 and 20 led northern Colorado does in the most athletic conference in America.
Most of us are old enough to remember to AD and Noel. Hell, even Richards wasn’t that bulky by his junior (breakout) year. We wouldn’t have written off Bradshaw on his lack of weight alone.
And you think he is suited to play out on the floor? Won't be able to guard opponents or shoot well enough, but since you love ccc so much, I'm sure you will be happy regardless
Knecht isn't unathletic. He's going to be a nice fit there and he's good with the ball and off the ball. Tennessee has done some smart things to change their offensive identity roster wise, but like the Kentucky fans...their fans will have to see it to believe it because the only thing that is equal to wanting temporary blindness than a 24 hr channel of Josh Heupel in a speedo is watching a Rick Barnes coached team play offense.
My concern is if Cal will give him the PT. Cal seems to always pick a player that he refuses to play regardless of the players in front of them.
Someone like Jacob Groves from Oklahoma or Da'Sean Nelson from DePaul would be a good fit.
I sure hope not as it sounds like there are 30 guard-Forward tweeners better than him in the portal already.

I think White is a nice player in a vacuum, but he's the opposite of what they need. Athletic wing who can't shoot or pass. Louisville will also be his 6th school in as many years, something he'll have in common with the teams only guard - a guy who quit his previous team mid season.
I know they're adding some guys with stars by their name, but it's such a poorly assembled roster. Without knowing the schedule, I'll predict that they improve from 4 wins to 8-10.
