I’m absolutely not into the social media blitz from the shallow cliche new norms that we see so often with these youngsters just to “exist” in the public sphere...
HOWEVER it’s nice when young men are willing to expose a genuine, open look into their experience. There’s a ton of value in fans connecting with the student athlete as a human who dedicated themselves to the program we love. It’s too easy to forget their humanity when that connection isn’t made. Cheers to Tre for bringing us all into the family circle that Frost is building united with fans. His (and sooo many others’) contributions unseen by the public-being a solid teammate, etc.- should never be forgotten. Respect.

I am so proud of this young man, and equally melancholy for his forced decision. I wish him the best. He will always be a Husker. GBR
Adam Taylor was my favorite when he came in, Tre Bryant was my favorite coming in. So hard to see them never get to fulfill the promise. I am apparently a jinx, so I'm not picking a favorite RB any more. Anyway, best to Tre with whatever he decides to pursue next!
Very articulate, honest and moving statement from Tre. Wish him the best going forward. Such a contrast from the hollow, empty, cliche laden garbage spewed by Urban today. You find out who you really are when faced with adveristy and its a sad state of affairs when a young kid is the one who sets the example on how to act with class and grace in his time of crisis while a grown *** man acts like a petulant, spoiled child. I’d rather have a guy like Tre represent my team any day over Urban. Though his playing time was cut short, Tre will always be remembered as a class act and a Husker for life.
I would like to see him be an honorary captain for the season opener. Let him walk out for the coin toss and let the crowd give him a standing O.
That’s a little extreme... go ahead and pick a favorite still. Just let it be the starting RB for Iowa.
Always a Husker! Tough circumstances forced Tre's early departure from the game he loved, but he did so on his terms, walking off of the field exuding the class that he has shown since he got here! Life sometimes has fickle ways of changing on you when you least expect it. Here's hoping Tre attacks life's challenges exactly as he has his football career.......things bode well for this young man! Best of luck Tre!
